The structures of two conformations of the ammonium carbamate chains in Zn2(dobpdc)(m-2–CO2)1.62 at 100 K as determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. A primary ammonium forms in the first conformation (top, 29.2(9)% occupancy relative to ZnII), while a secondary ammonium forms in the second conformation (bottom, 51.7(9)% occupancy). Light blue, blue, red, gray, and white spheres represent Zn, N, O, C, and H atoms, respectively.
