With the help of the host-derived enforcement, the range and effect of reaction inhibitions on the VBOF can be investigated while keeping the host’s maintenance at 100%. The minimum possible reaction inhibition rate to reduce the viral replication capacity (VBOF) is given in dark blue. The maximum inhibition of the reaction does not harm the host’s maintenance and is indicated in light blue. The reduction of the VBOF is given in comparison to the un-inhibited state. All reaction identifiers are BiGG identifiers [28]. Table A1 lists all reaction identifiers with their corresponding reaction name and the subsystem they occur in.
