Anti-viral effect of compounds 4 and 8. The left hand chart shows anti-viral effect of compounds 4 and 8 in HUH7_mCherry cells. An anti-viral effect was established after a 4-day incubation with SARS CoV-2 virus at concentrations which did not cause significant cytotoxic effects. The anti-viral effect was established by an increase in fluorescent cells counted compared to an untreated control. The right-hand chart shows cell viability after 4-days treatment with compounds 4 and 8 in HUH7_mCherry cells. Viability was established by counting the number of fluorescent cells. Data are shown as the average of two technical repeats with error bars representing the range. Data are representative of two technical repeats.
