The effect of treatment on body mass, plasma carotenoids, plasma triglycerides, and coccidian infection intensity. (a) Treatment did not affect the body mass of birds. (b) Treatment had an effect on plasma carotenoids—carotenoids were significantly higher in the toltrazuril group pre-treatment, but after medication, there were no differences between the groups. (c) Treatment did not affect plasma triglycerides.
