Unit-cell parameters and volumes of olivine studied in this work with composition Mg1.84Fe0.16SiO4 at different temperatures between 20 and 298 K.

Data are scaled to 298 K unit-cell parameters of Table 4 for the high-T dataset7 as the differences in unit-cell parameters were negligible. Raw low-T data are available for Mg1.84Fe0.16SiO4 olivine, which contains NIST silicon as internal standard.

*Measured after cooling to verify the perfect reversible behavior before and after the cooling to 20 K.
