Therapeutic activity of selected peptides. Galleria mellonella larvae were infected with 5 × 105 cells of Candida albicans SC5314 and treated with peptides (single injection, 13 μmol/kg) or saline solution (control group). The survival curves of all selected peptides were significantly different from that of the control group, as assessed by Mantel–Cox logrank test (* p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01, *** p < 0.001).
