Effects of (a) l-borneol, (b) amentoflavone, and (c) diclofenac on p-cresol-mediated LDH release in HepaRG cells (0.4 million cells/well). Cells were pre-treated with vehicle or 0.75 mM l-borneol, 75 μM, amentoflavone, or 100 μM diclofenac for 30 min, then co-treated with vehicle or 0.75 mM p-cresol for 24 h as described in Section 2. LDH release was calculated as the percentage of activity in the cell supernatant to that of the sum of cell supernatant and cell lysates.
