User responses to EAT and DRINK event validation requests. Responses to EAT events (left) and DRINK events (right) are grouped by the algorithm’s confidence in each event. Validation requests were sent automatically by email within 15 min of an event, and responses were allowed within 1 h of an event. Confidence estimates varied from 0.3 to 1.0 (events with lower confidence are dropped by the algorithm). Bars are annotated with the total number of responses in each bin.
