Effect of methylglyoxal (MG) on MG-derived AGE, MG-H1, and PD-L1 expression in mPCa cells. MG, at the concentration of 10 µM, was administrated to DU-145 and PC3 cells for 48 h and MG-H1 levels were measured by Western blot (a) and a specific ELISA kit (b). The expression of PD-L1 was evaluated at (c) mRNA level by RT-qPCR, and protein level by (d) Western blot and (e) a specific ELISA kit. The molecular weight markers associated with the blots are reported in Figure S5.
