NKG2D enhances iDNT cell-mediated inhibition of B cell proliferation and promotes B cell apoptosis. Naïve B cells were cultured with sorted TCRαβ⁺CD3⁺CD4^-CD8^-NKG2D⁺ or TCRαβ⁺CD3⁺CD4^-CD8^-NKG2D^- iDNT cells at a ratio of 4×10⁵ B cells to 1×10⁵ iDNT cells in 96-well round-bottom plates in B cell medium. EdU (10 μM) and LPS (5 μg/mL) were added to the medium, and B cell proliferation and apoptosis were detected approximately 18 hours later. (A) Histograms are representative of B cell proliferation.
