SARS‐CoV‐2 ORF9b inhibits SeV‐induced IFN‐β secretion. HEK‐293T cells were transfected with plasmids of the pcDNA6B empty vector (500 ng) or SCV2‐ORF9b (500 ng). Twenty‐four hours later, the cells were infected with SeV as indicated, and 9 and 12 h after stimulation, the culture supernatant was collected for ELISA assays. The results from one representative experiment are shown to represent three independent biological replicates. The error bars indicate the SD.
