Typical absence seizures were time-locked with behavioral arrest, while prolonged atypical absence seizures were not always time-locked with the behavioral onset and termination. Myoclonic seizures were very brief and had spikes in both EEG and electromyogram (EMG) channels. Wildtype mice exhibits a low baseline incidence of spontaneous SWDs as previously reported.
