Pak1 deletion tends to increase the sActRIIB-induced 4E-BP1 inactivating phosphorylation. The results are expressed as mean ± SEM. Statistical analysis was performed using two-way ANOVA tests (sActRIIB effect: ^#P < 0.05 and ^##P < 0.01) and Bonferroni post-tests (sActRIIB effect: *P < 0.05).
