Fig 1

Representative images of the choroidal thickness and vascularity index analyses: (A) subfoveal choroidal thickness measured at 7 locations (one at the foveal centre, 3 in the temporal direction, and 3 in the nasal direction, each with 500 µm intervals); (B) peripapillary choroidal thickness measured at 6 locations (nasal, superonasal, superotemporal, temporal, inferonasal, and inferotemporal); (C) choroidal vascularity index (CVI) calculated in the subfoveal choroidal area (starting from 1500 µm nasal to fovea and ending 1500 µm temporal to fovea); the image was binarized, and CVI calculations were made by the region of interest manager of the ImageJ software.
