Initially, CCVT was accompanied by surrounding edema (A,D,G); but hemorrhagic transformation would likely arise if standard anticoagulation and hydration therapy were not administered appropriately (B,E,H). Parenchymal edema and the hematoma were gradually absorbed, and the lesion underwent neural recovery (C,F,I).
