Parachute mitral valve. Demonstrates a case of a ‘Parachute’ Mitral Valve, in which all anchoring chordae tendineae supporting the mitral valve arise from a single papillary muscle. This is a consequence of abnormal fusion of myocardial trabeculae during delamination.
