Tetralone derivatives reduce ROS and nitrite production. RAW264.7 cells were pre-treated with tetralones for 30 min and they were induced by 1 μg/ml LPS for 24 h. (A) ROS production was measured by using 2 μM dihydrorhodamine 123 fluorescent dye (fluorescent intensity was measured at 490 nm [excitation]/510–570 nm [emission] wavelengths). (B) Nitrite production was evaluated by applying Griess reagent (optical density was measured at 550 nm).
