The viral protein targeted the components involved in RIG-I signaling. (A) HEK293FT cells were transfected with HA-tagged ubiquitin (HA-Ub), FLAG-tagged RIG-I, HA-tagged Riplet, viral ORF 7a, 7b, 8, 9b, 14, and 3CL expression vectors for 24 h as indicated, and then whole cell extract (WCE) was prepared. Immunoprecipitation was performed using an anti-FLAG antibody. The proteins were subjected to SDS-PAGE and detected by Western blotting with indicated antibodies. (B) HEK293FT cells were transfected with FLAG-tagged RIG-I, HA-tagged MAVS, viral 9b, and 3CL for 24 h, and then WCE was prepared. Immunoprecipitation was performed with anti-FLAG antibodies.
