Increased level of N-GSDMD in tears from dry eye patients. Tears from dry eye patients (n=15, 30 eyes) or normal controls (n=15, 30 eyes) were collected with Schirmer strips, and randomly divided into three groups (each group contained five patients’ strips and five controls’ strips). The attached tear proteins on the strips were extracted, and then subjected to western blotting.
