Fig. 6 — Network analysis of 9 signature miRNAs using validated miRNA-mRNA interactions. Signature miRNAs were applied to a miRNA-centric network visual analytics platform (MiRNet). miRNA target gene data were collected from well-annotated database: miRTarBase v8.0, TarBase v8.0 and miRecords. Targets were used to build a network of main interactions. Nodes indicated by rectangles represent signature miRNAs. Nodes indicated by circles represent target genes. A standard enrichment analysis based on the hypergeometric tests after adjustment for false discovery rate (FDR) was also included
