^aThe Health Literacy Questionnaire (HLQ) has previously been translated and validated in simplified Chinese (Huang et al., 2019) but not Bangla. We used an accredited translation company to conduct a forward and back translation of the three domains of the HLQ into Bangla. This translation was also reviewed by our Bangla-speaking bilingual community researchers; however, the Bangla version has not been validated.
