At constant chemical composition, it is possible to modulate Csat by over five orders of magnitude by simply changing the molecular weight of the A-IDP (Csat @ 37°C = 1 nM - 400 μM). [WT]-40 has a Csat of ~1 μM. For reference, ϕ = 0.001 corresponds to concentrations of 58 μM, 30 μM, 20 μM and 15 μM for repeat lengths of 20, 40, 60 and 80 octapeptides, respectively.
