Effect of CB on the activation of NF-κB p65 and IκBα in ETEC K88-infected piglets. Pigs were challenged with or without ETEC (1 × 10⁹ CFU/kg BW). At 3, 6, and 12 h post inflammatory challenge, intestinal mucosa samples were collected to examine the expression of p65, p-p65, IκBα, and p-IκBα by Western blotting. NC, piglets were fed the daily diet and received oral administration of sterile physiological saline; PC, piglets were fed the daily diet and received oral challenge with ETEC K88; PC + CB, piglets were fed the CB-supplemented diet and received oral challenge with ETEC K88.
