Sample recordings of integrated whole-nerve responses from the chorda tympani CT (upper and middle) and the GL nerve (bottom trace) of a WT mouse. Taste stimuli were 0.1 mol/L NH4Cl, 10 mmol/L NaCl, 0.5 mol/L glucose (Glc), 0.5 mol/L Glc + 10 mmol/L NaCl, 1 mmol/L SC45647 (SC), 1 mmol/L SC + 10 mmol/L NaCl, 0.5 mol/L sucrose (Suc), 0.5 mol/L Suc + 10 mmol/L NaCl. 1 mmol/L phlorizin (Phl) was applied to the tongue.
