Dose-response analyses for the association between intakes of raw tomato (A), tomato catsup (B), or lycopene (C) and all-cause mortality were performed using restricted cubic spline model with 3 knots at 10th, 50th and 90th percentiles. Models were adjusted for age, sex, race, body mass index, education, smoking status, total energy intake, alcohol drinking status, marital status, randomization arm, aspirin use, history of hypertension, history of diabetes, history of stroke, history of heart attack, vegetables intake, and fruit intake.
