Correlation coefficients between MD3 rating subscale scores and BCCC assessments

Total adherent behaviours Total non-adherent behaviours Collaboration Empathy BCCC: Self-assessment
r (p-value)
Total non-adherent behaviours −0.24 (p = 0.0004)
Collaboration 0.66 (p < .0001) −0.48 (p < .0001)
Empathy (N = 200) 0.66 (p < .0001) −0.47 (p < .0001) 0.85 (p < .0001)
BCCC: Self-assessment (n = 121) 0.19 (p = 0.0400) −0.15 (p = 0.0957) 0.26 (p = 0.0039) 0.15 (p = 0.0946)
BCCC: SP assessment (n = 65) 0.34 (p = 0.0051) −0.14 (p = 0.2643) 0.25 (p = 0.0421) 0.17 (p = 0.1835) 0.27 (p = 0.0290)

Note: To investigate the differences between the three years of investigation, regression models of each year on adherent behaviours were applied. Except for total adherent points, all other measures were not normal distribution, and thus, cumulative logistic regression models were implemented. To adjust for multiple comparisons, Bonferroni correction was applied and the adjusted significance level was at p < 0.0025.
