Expression data of BCAR4 were downloaded from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). (b) Kaplan–Meier analysis was used to determine the OS curve of patients with high BCAR4-expressing ESCC tumors vs. low BCAR4-expressing tumors with the data from TCGA. Statistical analysis was performed by log-rank test in a SPSS 22 for Windows. (c)The relative expression of BCAR4 in 32 paired ESCC tissues and adjacent para-carcinoma tissues obtained from ESCC patients was checked by RT-qPCR.
