CD8 lethal cytokine signature. Significant differences in CD8 populations and TNF cytokine populations were observed in interstrain comparisons between the lethal and nonlethal models. In both interstrain comparisons, significant increases in CD8+ cells and TNF producing cells were observed in the lethal model at 14 dpi when compared to nonlethal models 21 dpi.
