The adjusted odds ratios (model-b) of gestational diabetes mellitus GDM-1 (a) and GDM-2 (b) for declared diabetes in the parents (compared to ‘absence of diabetes in the family’). These results were calculated in multiple logistic regression after adjusted for multiparity, pre-pregnancy BMI, maternal age, gestational weight gain (GWG) out of the range, smoking in the first trimester and prior diabetes in pregnancy. * Statistically significant (Table 5).
