Patients with suspected NSTE-ACS and persistent pain, dyspnea, palpitations or syncope should be referred to emergency departments, ideally monitored in the ambulance. I C
Patients suspected of NSTE-ACS with less severe findings (i.e., without persistent pain, dyspnea, palpitations or syncope) should be instructed to seek out an emergency department that can perform ECG and troponin measurement. IIb C
