Benzazulenones have higher IC₅₀ with less change over time as compared to OphA. Change of effective CaM-binding affinity over time of OphA and formyl aminobenzazulenones (A) and aminobenzazulenones (B) as measured in the fluorescence polarization assay using F-PMCA peptide as the fluorescent probe.
