Experimental design of the study. Before the death of M1, weekly management, including two phases (P1 and P2), was carried out to avoid cohabitation conflicts between M1 and M2. After the death of M1, these management dynamics were ceased (P3). A total of 20 days were sampled for P1, 14 days for P2, and 13 days for P3. Days from the death of M1 are indicated for each phase.
