Both cPLA2-α and sPLA₂-IIA are involved in the release of PGE₂ induced by BmooMPα-I. Cultured preadipocytes were pretreated with PYR-2, cPLA₂-α inhibitor, FKGK11, iPLA₂ inhibitor, KH064, sPLA₂-IIA inhibitor, or DMEM + vehicle (DMSO < 1%) for 1 h and then stimulated with BmooMPα-I (0.24 µM) for 12 h. Supernatants were collected and the concentration of PGE₂ was quantified by ELISA. Each value represents the mean ± SEM of 3 samples.
