Fluorescence images (MolecuLight i:X) revealed red or cyan fluorescence (denoted with white arrows) indicative of bacterial loads >104 CFU/g in all wounds listed above. Regions of cyan in panels (b,f) were confirmed as Pseudomonas aeruginosa in these cases. Green is indicative of matrix components from tissue [29].
