Static and cyclic strain affects tissues differently: (A) The different tissue models were subjected to either static stretch with a constant load or trapezoid-cyclic stretch with 0.3 Hz but equal strain velocity and amplitude; (B–D) Normalized force relaxation curves of individual experiments were plotted.
