Splicing switching induced by PF14-SCO nanoparticles carrying different protein corona. HeLa pLuc705 cells were incubated with nanoparticles of 500 nM PF14 with 100 nM SCO in culture media containing 10% of foetal bovine serum (FBS), murine serum (MS) or human serum (HS) for 4 h and luminescence was quantified after additional 20 h of incubation. Data was analysed using one-way ANOVA with post-hoc Tukey’s test. Each dataset is presented as mean ± SEM. ** p < 0.01, *** p < 0.0005. Each dot represents a relative luminescence value form one well in the assay of correction of the luciferase pre-mRNA by SCO. Three independent experiments were performed, having three wells per experimental condition.
