A 2001 A. palmeri population (F₀) used for generating F₁, F₂, F₃, and F₄ lines. The table shows the mesotrione rates and the number of seedlings used in successive generations of the recurrent selection process. The survivors from each generation were allowed to cross and produce next generation seed. Dead/alive counts were recorded 3 weeks after treatment.
