(A,B) Mice were subject to cortical SWI injury and treated with AMX for 7 days; AMX was then withdrawn and mice were sacrificed 43 days later (40 days after injury). In AMX-treated mice, even after long wash-out, the density of CD11c+ and CD169+ microglia (TMEM119+) remained significantly higher than in vehicle-treated animals.
