As indicated, rat kidney slices were exposed to cisplatin (150 μg/mL), gentamicin (4.6 mg/mL), or vehicle (buffer; no drug) for 1 h, followed by the addition of TFCH (2 μM) for 30 min. The tissue samples were washed, fixed, and processed as described in the Methods before imaging.
