Green arrows represent forward primers and red arrows represent reverse primers that were used to discriminate the A3B isoforms by RT-PCR. The sizes of the PCR products are indicated for each isoform. (B) HBEC3-KT cells were infected with HAdV-A12, -B3, -C2 or mock control. Two and four days postinfection (dpi), mRNA was extracted and A3B isoform discrimination was assessed by RT-PCR using the primer pairs Ex4_F/Ex6_R (top gel) and Ex7_F/Ex8_R (bottom gel). The experiment was replicated at least 3 times and representative images are shown.
