All the recipient lines were significantly different from NMAS022 in anthesis, plant height, number of kernels per spike, and 0.5-m2 yield (P = 0.01), and NMAS022 had more productive tillers than line 4446 and higher TKW than all the recipients but Zhoumai27, which were not shown in the table.
