spvC down-regulates NLRP3 and NLRC4 in an autophagy related manner. (A, B) J774A.1 cells were infected with STM-WT, STM-ΔspvC and STM-ΔspvC/pspvC at an MOI of 10. Cell lysates were analysed by western blot with specific antibodies to NLRP3 (A), NLRC4 (B) and the control Histone H3 at 2 hpi, 4 hpi and 8 hpi.
