Not all participants responded to this item at all waves. Percentage of missing data for bicycling varied between 0 and 3%. For number of children, percentage of missing data varied between 0 and 1% in 2007 and 2009, increasing to 14 and 18% in 2011.

Variables representing children’s ages were created only for participants who reported one or more children aged under 18 years at home.
