Ultraviolet light examination of the distal end of the bronchoscopy system without the closed system after the bronchoscope has been passed in and out of the endotracheal tube several times. There is also contamination of the proceduralist’s gown and gloves as well as the procedural environment. Additionally, we see high velocity particles being ejected from the port where the bronchoscope enters the endotracheal tube into the local environment.
