Table 2.

Amount of accommodation (convergence and divergence) for each pair and call type. Week refers to the week after pair formation when the recordings for the “after”-comparison were made (for phee-/trill-/ and food calls respectively). α-level gives the level at which the vocal distance was significantly different before and after pair formation (ns indicates that the change in distance was not significant). r indicates the effect size, while the + or − indicates the direction of the effect. Positive r values indicate convergence, i.e. that the pair became more similar, negative r values indicate divergence.
