Migration inhibitory factor (MIF) secretion levels under normoxic and hypoxic conditions. Cells were cultured in starvation medium at normoxic oxygen levels of 21% O2 or hypoxic oxygen levels of <1% O2. Supernatants of ASCs were collected at indicated measuring points and ELISA was performed to determine MIF secretion by ASCs under normoxic and hypoxic conditions. Baseline levels (BL) were obtained at the starting point 0 h. The graph displays pooled results from patients group A (healthy donor sites) and group B (chronic non-healing wounds). Analyses were performed for seven biological replicates (n = 7). Data are mean values ± SEM (two-way ANOVA, Holm-Šídák’s multiple comparisons test, not significant).
