Release of IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-1β from ASCs from healthy donor site (Group A) following hypoxia and stimulation with recombinant human MIF. Cells were stimulated with 100 ng/ml of recombinant MIF and cultured in growth medium at normoxic oxygen levels of 21% O₂ or hypoxic oxygen levels of <1% O₂. Supernatants of ASCs were collected at 24 h after induction of hypoxia and ELISA was performed to assess cytokine secretion by ASCs under normoxic and hypoxic conditions.
