F-actin is necessary for glucose-induced arrest of neuronal mitochondrial motility (related to Fig. 1). The axon segments expressing Mito-DsRed and shown in Fig. 1 B were subjected to a glucose shift in the presence of LatA or its vehicle control (DMSO). The segments are oriented such that rightward movement is toward axon terminals. Scale bar represents 20 µm. Video is played at 30× real-time speed and rendered at 20 frames per second.
