FHL2 is necessary for glucose-mediated arrest of neuronal mitochondria (related to Fig. 7). Axon segments expressing Mito-DsRed and either an shRNA toward FHL2 or a nontargeting control shRNA were subjected to a glucose shift. Corresponding kymographs for these axons are shown in Fig. 7 B. The segments are oriented such that rightward movement is toward axon terminals. Scale bar represents 20 µm. Video is played at 30× real-time speed and rendered at 20 frames per second.
