CUR-PDT inhibited the phenotypic transformation, migration, and foaming of ox-LDL–treated VSMCs. The expression of proteins related to phenotype transformation (α-SMA, SM22-α, and OPN) was detected by western blotting after different treatments for 6 hours. The migration of VSMCs was detected by transwell assay. The accumulation of lipid droplets in VSMCs was measured by Oil Red O staining after CUR-PDT.
